The purpose of our "Celebrate Recovery" is to fellowship and celebrate God's love and healing power in our lives through the 12 steps and 8 principles of the Celebrate Recovery process. This experience allows us to "be changed". We open the door to that change by sharing our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God's grace in solving our life's problems.
     By working and applying these principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free of our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and with others.
     As we progress through this process we discover our personal, loving and forgiving higher power - Jesus Christ!

     The first leaders training for Celebrate Recovery preparation and participant study began February 2002. As of August 2002, we have admitted our powerlessness over hurts, habits & hang-ups. We have accepted God's dominion and turned our lives over to God's care. We have searched ourselves, admitted our wrongs and humbly ask God to remove any defects. Furthermore, we learned to forgive and made amends for our wrongs to others. We will continue to move through the process while growing closer to God and sharing the healing message of Celebrate Recovery with others. "For it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to act according to His good purpose." Phil 2:13

     In mid-September 2002, a new leader's training will begin. If you would like to work with the Celebrate Recovery ministry, there is still time. Your life experiences are invaluable to the Celebrate Recovery ministry. God doesn't waste a hurt or gift. Don't allow fear, shame or confusion to hold you any longer. Step out on faith.
